Silsilah Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Those dwellers of Hell for whom Allah does not intend to remove from Hell, they will neither die nor live. But those dwellers of Hell whom Allah intends to remove from there, He will cause them to die there, until they become (burnt and) like charcoal. Then permission will be granted for intercession on their behalf, and they will be taken out from there in groups and thrown into the rivers of Paradise. They will grow as a seed grows in the flow of a flood.” That is, they will come into their existence very quickly.
