Importance of miswak
Hadith 395
- (لولا أن أشُقَّ على أمتي؛ لَفَرَضْتُ على أمتي السِّوَاكَ كما فَرَضْتُ عليهم الوضوءَ) .
Abdur Rahman bin Abi Laila narrates from a companion of the Messenger of Allah that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If I did not consider it a hardship for my ummah, I would have made the use of the miswak obligatory for them, just as I have made ablution obligatory."
