Silsilah Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah will raise the children of a believer to his rank in Paradise in order to please him, even if their deeds are less than that rank." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: «وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَاتَّبَعَتْهُمْ ذُرِّيَّتُهُمْ بِإِيمَانٍ» "And those who believe and whose offspring follow them in faith..." (52:21, At-Tur) and then said: "We have bestowed favors upon the sons without reducing anything from the blessings of their fathers."
