Silsilah Sahihah

Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that we were with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) in a tent. He (peace be upon him) said: "Are you pleased that you will receive a quarter of Paradise?" We said: Yes. He (peace be upon him) said: "Are you pleased with a third of Paradise?" We said: Yes. He (peace be upon him) said: "Are you pleased that you will receive half of Paradise?" We said: Yes. He (peace be upon him) said: "By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad! I hope that you will receive half of Paradise. The reason for (receiving such a vast portion) is that only Muslims will enter Paradise, and among you, the proportion of those who commit shirk is like the white hair on the skin of a black bull or the black hair on the skin of a red bull."
