Allah's punishment?
Hadith 3902
- (لو أن الله يؤاخذُني وعيسى بذنوبنا (وفي رواية: بما جنت هاتان- يعني: الإبهام والتي تليها-) ، لُعذَّبَنا ولا (وفي الأخرى: ولم) يظلِمنا شَيئاً) .
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If Allah were to call me and Jesus (peace be upon him) to account for our sins, He would punish us and would not wrong us at all." And in another narration: "If He were to call us to account only for those sins committed by the thumb and the index finger."
