Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Ayub (peace be upon him) was bathing naked, when suddenly golden locusts began to fall upon him. He started gathering them in his garment. Allah, the Exalted, called out to him: 'O Ayub! Did I not make you free from need of these things which you see?' He replied: 'Yes, by Your honor! (You have made me free from need), but I can never be free from need of Your blessings.'"
