Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah created His creation in darkness and then cast His light upon it. Whoever received that light was guided, and whoever it missed went astray." Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: That is why I say that whatever is to happen, the Pen has written it and it has dried.
