Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Hasnah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I was with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on a journey. Some lizards fell into our hands, (they were caught and) were being cooked, and the pots were boiling. In the meantime, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A group from the Children of Israel had their forms transformed, and I fear that this animal might be one of them." Upon hearing this, we poured out the pots, even though we were hungry.
