Form of a Rooster Standing Under the Throne
Hadith 3812
- " إن الله أذن لي أن أحدث عن ديك قد مرقت رجلاه الأرض، وعنقه منثن تحت العرش وهو يقول: سبحانك ما أعظمك ربنا، فيرد عليه: ما يعلم ذلك من حلف بي كاذبا ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has permitted me to describe a rooster, whose legs are embedded in the earth and whose neck is bent beneath the Throne, and it says: 'O our Lord! You are Pure, how Great You are.' Allah Almighty responds to it: That man does not know My greatness who swears a false oath by Me."
