Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Thawban (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Soon the people of the nations will attack you just as eaters gather around a bowl." Someone said: "Will we be few in number at that time?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You will be numerous, but you will be like the foam and scum carried by a flood, and Allah will remove fear of you from the hearts of your enemies and will cast «وهن» into your hearts." Someone said: "O Messenger of Allah! What is «وهن»?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Love of the world and dislike of death is called «وهن»."
