Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Soon my Ummah will also be afflicted with the disease of the previous nations." The Companions asked: What is meant by the disease of the nations? He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Arrogance, pride, abundance of wealth and property, exaggeration and deceit in worldly matters, hatred, envy, and rebellion and oppression."
