Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Khalid bin Ma'dan says that Umair bin Aswad Al-Ansi narrated to him that he came to Sayyiduna 'Ubada bin As-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) while he was staying at the coast of Hims along with Sayyida Umm Haram (may Allah be pleased with her). Umair says: Sayyida Umm Haram narrated to us that she heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The first army of my Ummah to undertake a naval expedition has made Paradise obligatory for themselves." Sayyida Umm Haram said: O Messenger of Allah! Will I be among them? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You will be among them." Then he said: "The first army of my Ummah to fight against the people of Caesar's city will be forgiven." I said: O Messenger of Allah! Will I be among them? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No."
