Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Indeed, Allah Almighty will question the servant on the Day of Resurrection, even to the extent that He will ask: When you saw evil, why did you not forbid it? When Allah Almighty will make His proof clear to His servant, he will say: O my Lord! I trusted in You and I was afraid of the people.”
