Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) says that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "There will be people who will recite the Noble Qur'an, but it will not go below their collarbones (i.e., their throats) (meaning, it will not affect them). When one wave of them rises, it will be cut off, (and this sequence will continue) until the Dajjal appears among their large armies."
