Junadah bin Abi Umayyah Dosi says: My friend and I went to a companion of the Messenger of Allah and said: Tell us a hadith that you yourself heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), not from anyone else, even if he is truthful in our view. He said: Yes, indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) stood among us and said: "I warn you about the Dajjal, I warn you about the Dajjal, I warn you about the Dajjal. Every prophet has warned his nation about him. O my nation! He will appear among you. He will have curly hair and a wheat-colored complexion, his left eye will be obliterated. He will have with him Paradise and Hell. (In reality) his Hell will be Paradise and his Paradise will be Hell. He will have a river of water and a mountain of bread. (He will be given such power that) he will kill a soul and then bring it back to life, but he will not be given any further authority of this kind. He will cause rain to fall from the sky, but nothing will grow from the earth. He will remain on the earth for forty days, but will reach every place. He will not be able to come near four mosques: Masjid al-Haram, Masjid an-Nabawi, Masjid al-Maqdis, and Mount Tur. If, due to some of his powers, you begin to think he resembles Allah the Exalted, then keep in mind that Allah the Exalted is not one-eyed." He said this twice.
