Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Humaid, he says: I heard Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) delivering a sermon, he was saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "When Allah intends good for someone, He grants him understanding of the religion. I am only the distributor, the Giver is Allah. A group from my Ummah will always remain steadfast on the command of Allah; those who oppose them will not be able to harm them, until the command of Allah comes."
