State of People Going to the Gathering Place
Hadith 3604
- (يُحشر النّاسُ على ثلاثِ طرائقَ: راغبين وراهبين، واثنان على بعير، وثلاثةٌ على بعير، وأربعةٌ على بعير، وعشرةٌ على بعير، ويَحشرُ بقيتَهم النّارُ، تقيلُ معهم حيثُ قالُوا، وتبيتُ معهم حيثُ باتُوا، وتصبحُ معهم حيث أصبحُوا، وتُمسي معهم حيثُ أمسُوا) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "People will be gathered in three states: those who desire (good) and those who fear (evil); two men on one camel, three men on one camel, four men on one camel, and ten men on one camel will come riding. The rest of the people will be gathered by fire; wherever they take a nap, it will take a nap there; wherever they spend the night, it will spend the night there; wherever they wake up in the morning, it will wake up there; and wherever they spend the evening, it will spend the evening there."
