Hadith 3567

- " والذي نفسي بيده لا تقوم الساعة حتى يكلم السباع الإنس ويكلم الرجل عذبة سوطه وشراك نعله ويخبره فخذه بما حدث أهله بعده ".
Sayyiduna Abu Sa‘id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) says: A wolf attacked a goat and caught it. The shepherd chased after it and snatched the goat away from it. The wolf sat down on its tail, spreading its hind legs on the ground and standing on its forelegs, and said: “Do you not fear Allah? The sustenance that Allah had granted me, you have snatched away from me?” The shepherd said: “How astonishing! It is a wolf, sitting on its tail and speaking like a human being.” Then the wolf spoke again and said: “Shall I not tell you something even more astonishing than this? Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) has come to Yathrib (Madinah) and is informing about past events.” (Upon hearing this) the shepherd drove his goats to Madinah, gathered them in a corner, and came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and informed him of the situation. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered and the call of «الصلاة جامعة» was raised to gather the people, (the people gathered and) the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to them and ordered the shepherd to narrate the whole incident. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) himself said: “He has spoken the truth. By the One in Whose hand is my soul! Before the Hour is established, wild beasts will speak to people, a man will converse with the tip of his staff and the strap of his sandal, and his thigh will inform him of what his wife did after him.”
