Virtue of the People of Hijaz and Criticism of the East
Hadith 3511
- (غِلَظُ القلوبِ والجفاءُ في المشْرقِ، والإيمانُ في أهْل الحِجاز) .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Harshness, coarseness of the hearts, and roughness of temperament are among the people of the East, and faith is among the people of Hijaz."
