Tafsir of the Last Verse of Surah Al-Fatiha
Hadith 3474
- ( [المغضوب عليهم] : اليهودُ، و [الضالِّينَ] : النصارى) .
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “By «لْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ» (in Surah Al-Fatihah) is meant the Jews, and by «الضَّالِّينَ» is meant the Christians.” This hadith is narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Adi bin Hatim Ta’i, Sayyiduna Abu Dharr, and another companion of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
