Example of knowledge not spread
Hadith 346
ـ (مَثَلُ الذي يتعلَّمُ العِلْمَ ثمَّ لا يحدِّثُ به؛ كمَثَلِ الذي يكنِزُ الكنْزَ فلا ينفقُ منه) .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The person who acquires knowledge but does not convey it (to the people), is like the one who accumulates a treasure but does not spend from it."
