Virtue of Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas (ra)
Hadith 3413
- (اللهمّ! سُقْ إلى هذا الطعام عبْداً تحبُّه ويحبُّك، فطلع سعد [بن أبي وقّاص] ) .
Aisha bint Sa’d narrates from her father that food was placed before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “O Allah! Bring to this food a man whom You love and who loves You.” Just then, Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived.
