Era of the Companions after the Prophet was the best
Hadith 3316
- " خير الناس قرني، ثم الذين يلونهم، ثم الذين يلونهم، ثم يجيء قوم تسبق شهادة أحدهم يمينه ويمينه شهادته ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best people are those of my generation, then those who come after them, and then those who come after them. Then there will come people whose testimonies will precede their oaths, and their oaths will precede their testimonies."
