Hadith 3300
- " يا أيها الناس! إني قد تركت فيكم ما إن أخذتم به لن تضلوا، كتاب الله وعترتي أهل بيتي ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both), he says: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of Arafah during Hajj, he was delivering a sermon while mounted on his she-camel "Qaswa." I heard him say: "O people! I am leaving among you such (two) things that if you hold fast to them, you will never go astray: (1) The Book of Allah, and (2) my progeny, that is, my Ahl al-Bayt."
