Hadith 3255

- " من منع فضل مائه أو فضل كلئه منعه الله فضله يوم القيامة ".
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I entered Paradise and suddenly saw a palace made of gold. I asked: Whose palace is this? They said: It belongs to a young man from the Quraysh. I thought it would be mine (because I am from the Quraysh). Anyway, I asked: Who is this Qurayshi? They said: It is ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him)." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "‘Umar! If it were not for your sense of honor and modesty, I would have surely entered it." Sayyiduna ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "O Messenger of Allah! Could I ever feel any sense of honor against you?"
