Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I asked my Lord a question, but later I wished I had not asked it, for it would have been better. I said: O my Lord! Many messengers have passed before me; You subjected the winds for some, some (by Your permission) revived the dead, and You spoke directly to Musa (peace be upon him). Allah Almighty said: Did I not find you an orphan and give you shelter? Did I not find you lost and guide you? Did I not find you poor and enrich you? Did I not expand your breast and relieve you of your burden? I said: Yes (thus Allah Almighty silenced me). I wished I had not asked the question."
