Hadith 3100

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! Command me with a supplication which I may recite in the morning and evening. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Say: O Allah! Knower of the unseen and the seen! Creator of the heavens and the earth! Lord and Master of everything! I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except You alone. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my own self and from the evil of Satan and his shirk (associating partners with You). When you enter the morning and the evening and when you lie down on your bed, recite this supplication.”
