Dua Upon Seeing Something Liked or Disliked
Hadith 3060
- " كان إذا رأى ما يحب قال: الحمد لله الذي بنعمته تتم الصالحات، وإذا رأى ما يكرهه قال: الحمد لله على كل حال ".
Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw something he liked, he would say: "All praise is due to Allah, by whose blessings good deeds are completed." And when he saw something he disliked, he would say: "All praise is due to Allah in every circumstance (that is, in every situation, thanks are due to Allah)."
