Virtue of Surah Falaq and Surah Nas
Hadith 2941
- " يا ابن عابس (¬1) ألا أخبرك بأفضل ما تعوذ به المتعوذون؟ قال: بلى يا رسول، قال: * (قل أعوذ برب الفلق) * و * (قل أعوذ برب الناس) * هاتين السورتين ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abis Jahni, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to me: "Ibn Abis! Shall I not tell you the most excellent (remembrance) with which those who seek refuge, seek refuge?" I said: O Messenger of Allah! Why not. He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "These are two surahs: Surah Al-Falaq «قل اعوذ برب الفلق» and Surah An-Nas «قل اعوذ برب الناس»."
