Inkwell and Pen Prostrated with the Prophet ﷺ
Hadith 2924
- (كُتِبتْ عنده سورةُ (النجم) ، فلمَّا بَلغَ السَّجْدَة سَجَدَ، وسَجَدْنا معه، وسَجَدَتِ الدَّوَاةُ والقَلَمُ) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that Surah An-Najm was written in the presence of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When he reached the verse of prostration, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and we performed prostration, and the inkwell and the pen also performed prostration.
