How Long to Complete Quran Recitation
Hadith 2904
- (اقرؤوا القرآن ما ائتلفت عليه قلوبكم، فإذا اختلفتُم فقومُوا عنه) .
Sayyiduna Jundub bin Abdullah Bajali (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Recite the Qur'an as long as your hearts are united upon its (meanings), but when you begin to differ regarding its understanding, then stand up (i.e., stop reciting it together)."
