Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Zararah bin Awfa narrates that Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) told me that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived in Madinah, people rushed towards him and it began to be said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) has come, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) has come, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) has come." I also came to see him. When I looked closely at his face, I realized that this is not the face of a liar. The first hadith that I heard from him was this: "O people! Spread peace, feed the people, maintain the ties of kinship (i.e., fulfill the rights of relatives), and pray at night when people are asleep, you will enter Paradise in peace."
