Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that during the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), a man's sheet began to be blown away by the wind, so he cursed the wind. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not curse the wind, for it is bound by (the command of Allah). (Remember that) whoever curses something that does not deserve to be cursed, the curse returns upon him."
