Hadith 280

- (لا تتَّهم الله تباركَ وتعالى في شيء قضى لك به) .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna ‘Ubādah bin Sāmit (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! Which deed is the best? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “To have faith in Allah, to affirm Him, and to strive in His path.” He said: O Messenger of Allah! I want a deed that is easier than this. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “To forgive and overlook, and to be patient.” He said: O Messenger of Allah! My intention is for an act even easier than this. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “Do not be displeased with whatever Allah decides for you (rather, be content with it).”
