Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Fadala bin Ubaid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said during the Farewell Pilgrimage: "Shall I not tell you who the believer is? (Listen) The believer is the one from whom people are safe regarding their wealth and lives. The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hand people are safe. The Mujahid is the one who strives against his own self in obedience to Allah Almighty, and the Muhajir is the one who abandons mistakes and sins."
