Praising someone in his presence
Hadith 2701
- " إياكم والتمادح، فإنه الذبح ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Avoid praising one another, for it is akin to slaughtering."
