Guest should not ask about food or drink
Hadith 2699
- " إذا دخل أحدكم على أخيه المسلم، فأطعمه من طعامه، فليأكل ولا يسأله عنه وإن سقاه من شرابه، فليشرب من شرابه ولا يسأله عنه ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When a man goes to his Muslim brother and he offers him food, he should eat it and not ask about it, and similarly, if he offers him a drink, he should drink it and not ask about it."
