Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A dream occurs according to its interpretation. Its example is like a man who has lifted his leg and is waiting for when he will place it on the ground. When anyone sees a dream, he should relate it only to a well-wisher or a person of knowledge."
