Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Companions said: O Messenger of Allah! When we are with you, our (state of faith and Islam) is different, and when we are with others, it is different (we feel as if this is hypocrisy)? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What do you think about your Lord and your Prophet?" They said: In public and in private (we affirm that) Allah is our Lord and you are our Prophet. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is not hypocrisy." In the narration of Abu Ya'la, the words "your Prophet" are mentioned.
