Cursing someone is a major sin
Hadith 2544
- " كنا إذا رأينا الرجل يلعن أخاه رأينا أن قد أتى بابا من الكبائر ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: When we saw a man cursing his brother, we used to think that he had committed one of the major sins.
