Parents' approval is the standard for Allah's pleasure
Hadith 2455
- " رضى الرب في رضى الوالد وسخط الرب في سخط الوالد ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The pleasure of Allah is in the pleasure of the father, and the displeasure of Allah is in the displeasure of the father."
