Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a relative goes to another relative and asks for something extra which Allah Almighty has granted him, but he acts stingily (and does not give), then on the Day of Resurrection a snake will be brought out from Hell for such a person, which will have its tongue out and which will be called «شجاع», and it will be made into a collar for that person."
