Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

There is a narration related to Allah Almighty’s statement, “And when the girl who was buried alive will be asked,” from Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him). He says: Sayyiduna Qais bin Asim (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! In the days of ignorance, I buried alive eight of my daughters. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “For each one of them, free a slave.” He said: I am a man of camels. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “If you wish, then sacrifice one camel for each one.”
