How a believer humiliates himself
Hadith 2298
- " لا ينبغي لمؤمن أن يذل نفسه، قالوا: وكيف يذل نفسه؟ قال: يتعرض من البلاء ما لا يطيق ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not befitting for a believer to humiliate himself." The Companions asked: How does a person humiliate himself? He replied: "He faces such trials for which he does not have the strength."
