How to pass through the places of punished nations
Hadith 2294
- " لا تدخلوا على هؤلاء القوم المعذبين إلا أن تكونوا باكين، فإن لم تكونوا باكين فلا تدخلوا عليهم أن يصيبكم ما أصابهم ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by the stone dwellings, he said: "Do not enter the places where the previous nations were punished, lest you be afflicted with the same punishment." Then he covered himself with his cloak while sitting on his saddle.
