Jibril's retribution against Pharaoh
Hadith 2242
- " قال لي جبريل: لو رأيتني وأنا آخذ من حال البحر فأدسه في فم فرعون مخافة أن تدركه الرحمة ".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Jibreel said to me: I wish you could have seen me at the time when I was taking the black mud of the sea and stuffing it into Pharaoh's mouth, fearing that (Allah's) mercy might reach him."
