No two securities nor two fears can coexist
Hadith 2240
- " قال الله عز وجل: وعزتي لا أجمع لعبدي أمنين ولا خوفين، إن هو أمنني في الدنيا أخفته يوم أجمع فيه عبادي، وإن هو خافني في الدنيا أمنته يوم أجمع فيه عبادي ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Shaddad bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty said: By My honor! I do not combine two securities nor two fears for My servant. That is, if My servant remained secure from Me in the world (by doing as he pleased), I will make him fearful on the Day of Gathering of the servants. And if he feared Me in the world, I will grant him security on the Day when people are gathered."
