Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Abu Ubaid Shuraih Hadrami narrates that when the time of death of Sayyiduna Abu Malik Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) approached, he said: O group of Ash'aris! Let the present people convey my words to the absent ones. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say, "The pleasure of this world is the bitterness of the Hereafter, and the bitterness of this world is the pleasure and sweetness of the Hereafter."
