Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah

Sayyidah Khawlah bint Qais bin Fahd Ansariyyah, who was from the Ansar, says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came one day, and I presented a pot in which there was bread or (a specific) sweet dish. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) put his hand in the pot to eat, and (because the food was hot) his fingers began to burn, due to which he said "Oh!" and then said: "When the son of Adam feels something cold, he says 'Oh!' and when he feels something hot, he also says 'Oh!'"
