Whatever is given is a test
Hadith 2216
- " إن الله تبارك وتعالى يبتلي عبده بما أعطاه، فمن رضي بما قسم الله عز وجل له بارك الله له فيه ووسعه، ومن لم يرض لم يبارك له فيه ".
A man from the tribe of Banu Sulaym narrates: Verily, Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, continues to test His servant through the blessings He has granted him. Whoever is content with Allah’s decree regarding himself, Allah grants him blessing and abundance in those blessings, and whoever is not content, no blessing is placed in those blessings for him.
